Russell Ormiston is an associate professor of economics at Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa., and was named as the president of the Institute for Construction Employment Research (ICERES) in February 2019. Prior to becoming ICERES President, Professor Ormiston was active as a Research Faculty member since joining the organization in 2015. His research on the construction industry has been published in academic journals (e.g., Industrial Relations, Labor Studies Journal), for the Economic Policy Institute, and in a series of forthcoming book chapters. Professor Ormiston earned his PhD in labor and industrial relations and M.A. in economics from Michigan State University.
